General anaesthesia is sometimes recommended for those with significant treatment needs, young children,
development or medical issues as well as the removal of wisdom teeth. When Dr Andrew offers a general anaesthetic he will explain in detail the process and treatment with you.
Our general anaesthetic treatment is performed St Andrew’s Private Hospital in Toowoomba in conjunction with
a specialist anaesthetist.
The advantage of a general anaesthetic is that dental care can be delivered in one visit and the patient
is asleep minimising the risk of a negative dental experience.
